Ukraine Here We Come!!

I am so pumped about heading to Ukraine!! Before we head out I want to share with you some super cute hats that a sweet lady (Mrs. Ellie) made for us. These hats are special in many ways. First off,  Ken's aunt was a avid craftswoman and was for some time. When she passed away unexpectedly about a year ago, she had a lot of yarn left in her craft room. Ken's Grandmother's friend (I know there was a lot of connecting there but hold on! ) took the yarn and knit all 50 of these precious hats for us to take to Ukraine. They are so sweet and special to me.  Another thing is that it has been so neat to look each of these hats and wonder what orphan will wear each one.  The other day I started crying just thinking about how many children don't have a mommy or daddy to love on them, to tuck them in at night, to feel secure with or to just hear the words, "I love you." So these hats are a special gift in many ways. I tried to get creative with them and took pictures to show y'all... :)
