First Annual Gotcha Day

Today we celebrated the day Luke left the orphanage for good. You can read about it here. To help celebrate, we decided to head to Nashville and do all of the kid things around town. Why Nashville? Well A.) not too far away, B.) we got in free to all of the places C.) well it just sounded like somewhere fun and different. So off we went. We hit up the science center first...cause once again it was free. :) But after a while we realized it was geared more for older kiddos so we headed to the zoo. Don't get me wrong, we had fun at the good ole science center but there is only so much science a little 5 year old boy can handle. After we had a fun filled day of science (center and zoo) we headed to the rainforest cafe!! He loved everything about that place! The animals, the food, and the cool fish in the tank. We also had a really special waitress who loved our story of why we were there so she sent the rainforest frog to come eat with us. How fun is that? That really put the icing on the cake for that kiddo!! Below are some pictures from our special day, enjoy!

At the top of the building.

Found out he is not a fan of heights on this trip.

At the zoo...maybe this attraction will last longer.

Now, where are the elephants?

Group shot

I mean really mom, haven't you taken enough pictures?

We gave him his bike on Gotcha Day.

Can't believe how far we have come in only one year! The Lord is so good!
